1. To be Deputy the following qualifications [calidades] are required:
a. To be a national of Nicaragua. Those who have acquired other nationality must have renounced it at least four years before the election is verified.
b. To be in full enjoyment of one's civil and political rights;
c. To have completed twenty-one years of age;
d. To have resided or worked in continuous form in the country [for] the four years prior to the election, save that during this period [periodo] fulfilling diplomatic missions or working in international organs [organismos] or realizing studies abroad. Also, to have been born or resided for the last two years in the Department or Autonomous Region for which he intends to be [salir] elected.

The House of Representatives is composed of no less than four hundred and fifty members elected by direct secret public ballot. At least one quarter of the seats shall be allocated to women.
A candidate for the membership of the House must be an Egyptian citizen, enjoying civil and political rights, a holder of at least a certificate of basic education, and no younger than 25 years old on the day that candidacy registration is opened.
Other candidacy requirements, the electoral system, and division of electoral constituencies shall be defined by law in a manner which observes fair representation of the population and governorates. Elections based on the plurality voting system or proportional list, or a combination of both at whatsoever ratio may be adopted.
The President of the Republic may appoint a number of members that does not exceed 5%. The method of their nomination is to be specified by law. (Art. 102) - Arabic
يُشكل مجلس النواب من عدد لا يقل عن أربعمائة وخمسين عضوا، يُنتخبون بالاقتراع العام السرى المباشر، على أن يُخصص للمرأة ما لا يقل عن ربع إجمالي عدد المقاعد.
يشترط فى المترشّح لعضوية المجلس أن يكون مصريّاً، متمتّعا بحقوقه المدنية والسياسيّة، حاصلاً على شهادة إتمام التعليم الأساسي على الأقل، وألا تقلّ سنّه يوم فتح باب التّرشّح عن خمس وعشرين سنة ميلادية.
ويُبين القانون شروط الترشح الأخرى، ونظام الإنتخاب، وتقسيم الدوائر الانتخابية بما يُراعى التمثيل العادل للسكان، والمحافظات، ويجوز الأخذ بنظام التصويت التعددي أو القائمة النسبية أو الجمع بأي نسبة بينهما.
كما يجوز لرئيس الجمهورية تعيين عدد من الأعضاء فى مجلس النواب لا يزيد على 5 %ويحدد القانون كيفية ترشيحهم. (المادّة 102)

The Senate shall consist of seventeen persons who, being qualified for appointment as Senators in accordance with the provisions of this Constitution, have been so appointed in accordance with the provisions of this section and such temporary members (if any) as may be appointed in accordance with the provisions of section 32 of this Constitution.
2. Ten Senators shall be appointed by the Governor-General acting in accordance with the advice of the Prime Minister.
3. Four Senators shall be appointed by the Governor-General acting in accordance with the advice of the Leader of the Opposition.
4. Subject to subsection (7) of this section, one Senator shall be appointed by the Governor-General in his discretion from outstanding persons or persons representing such interests as the Governor-General considers ought to be represented in the Senate.
5. One Senator shall be appointed by the Governor-General acting in accordance with the advice of the Barbuda Council.
6. One Senator, being an inhabitant of Barbuda, shall be appointed by the Governor-General in accordance with the advice of the Prime Minister.
7. Before appointing any person representing interests under subsection (4) of this section the Governor-General shall consult such persons as in his discretion he considers can speak for the interests concerned and ought to be consulted. (Sec. 28)

- English(1) The Senate shall consist of 11 Senators and such other Senators as may be temporarily appointed under section 28.
(2) Of the 11 Senators—
(a) 6 shall be appointed by the Governor General, acting in accordance with the advice of the Prime Minister;

(b) each Province shall be a single constituency for all seats reserved for women which are allocated to the respective Provinces under clause (3);
(c) the constituency for all seats reserved for non-Muslims shall be the whole country;
(d) members to the seats reserved for women which are allocated to a Province under clause (3) shall be elected in accordance with law through proportional representation system of political parties’ lists of candidates on the basis of total number of general seats secured by each political party from the Province concerned in the National Assembly:
Provided that for the purpose of this paragraph the total number of general seats won by a political party shall include the independent returned candidate or candidates who may duly join such political party within three days of the publication in the official Gazette of the names of the returned candidates; and
(e) members to the seats reserved for non-Muslims shall be elected in accordance with law through proportional representation system of political parties’ lists of candidates on the basis of total number of general seats won by each political party in the National Assembly:
Provided that for the purpose of this paragraph the total number of general seats won by a political party shall include the independent returned candidate or candidates who may duly join such political party within three days of the publication in the official Gazette of the names of the returned candidates. (Art. 51) - Urdu(١) قومی اسمبلی میں خواتین اورغیر مسلموں کے لئے مخصوص نششتوں کے بشمول ارکان کی [تین سو چھتیس] نشستیں ہوں گی۔

(٤) شق (٣) میں بحوالہ نشستوں کی تعداد کے علاوہ قومی اسمبلی میں غیر مسلموں کے لئے دس نشستیں مختص کی جائیں گی۔

(الف) عام نشستوں کے لئے انتخابی حلقے ایک رکنی علاقائی حلقے ہوں گے اور مذکورہ نشستوں کو پر کرنے کے لئے ارکان بلاواسطہ اور آزادانہ ووٹ کے ذریعے قانون کے مطابق منتخب کئے جائیں گے؛
(ب) ہر ایک صوبہ خواتین کے لئے مخصوص تمام نشستوں کے لئے جو متعلقہ صوبوں کے لئے شق (٣) کے تحت متعین کی گئی ہیں واحد حلقۂ انتخاب ہو گا؛
(ج) غیر مسلموں کے لئے مخصوص تمام نشستوں کے لئے حلقۂ انتخاب پورا ملک ہو گا؛
(د) خواتین کی مخصوص نشستوں کے لئے جو کسی صوبے کے لئے شق (٣) کے تحت مختص کی گئی ہیں ارکان قانون کے مطابق سیاسی جماعتوں کی امیدواران کی فہرست سے متناسب نمائندگی کے نظام کے ذریعے قومی اسمبلی میں متعلقہ صوبہ سے ہر ایک سیاسی جماعت کی طرف سے حاصل کردہ عام نشستوں کی کل تعداد کی بنیاد پر منتخب کی جائیں گی:
مگر شرط یہ ہے کہ اس پیرا کی غرض کے لئے کسی سیاسی جماعت کی طرف سے حاصل شدہ عام نشستوں کی کل تعداد میں وہ کامیاب آزاد امیدوار یا امیدواروں شامل ہوں گے جو سرکاری جریدے میں کامیاب امیدواروں کے ناموں کی اشاعت سےتین یوم کے اندر باضابطہ طور پر مذکورہ سیاسی جماعت میں شامل ہو جائیں۔
(ہ) غیر مسلموں کی مخصوص نشستوں کے لئے ارکان قانون کے مطابق سیاسی جماعتوں کے امیدواروں کی فہرست سے متناسب نمائندگی کے نظام کے ذریعے قومی اسمبلی میں ہر ایک سیاسی جماعت کی طرف سے حاصل کردہ عام نشستوں کی کل تعداد کی بنیاد پر منتخب کئے جائیں گے:
