- English(1) The Legislature may, in order to ensure the representation in Parliament of Members from the Malay, Indian and other minority communities, by law make provision for —
(a) any constituency to be declared by the President, having regard to the number of electors in that constituency, as a group representation constituency to enable any election in that constituency to be held on a basis of a group of not less than 3 but not more than 6 candidates; and
(b) the qualifications, in addition to those in Article 44, of persons who may be eligible for any election in group representation constituencies, including the requirements referred to in clause (2).

“person belonging to the Malay community” means any person, whether of the Malay race or otherwise, who considers himself to be a member of the Malay community and who is generally accepted as a member of the Malay community by that community;
“person belonging to the Indian or other minority communities” means any person of Indian origin who considers himself to be a member of the Indian community and who is generally accepted as a member of the Indian community by that community, or any person who belongs to any minority community other than the Malay or Indian community. - English(1) The Transitional Legislative Council is an independent, legislative authority. It may be dissolved. The number of members therein shall not exceed 300 members, and it represents all forces participating in change, except for members of the National Congress and political forces that participated in the former regime until its downfall;
(2) The participation of women is not be less than 40% of the membership of the Transitional Legislative Council;
(3) 67% of the members of the Transitional Legislative Council are selected by the Forces of Freedom and Change, and 33% are selected by other forces who did not sign the Freedom and Change Declaration. 5. يراعي في تكوين المجلس التشريعي الانتقالي مكونات المجتمع السوداني بما فيها القوي السياسية والمدنية والمهنيه والطرق الصوفيه والادارات الاهلية والحركات المسلحة الموقعة وغير الموقعهعلي اعلان الحرية والتغيير وغيرها من مكونات المجتمع السوداني. (الماده 24)

The Chamber of Deputies is composed of representatives of the people, elected, by the proportional system, in each state, territory and in the Federal District.
Paragraph 1. The total number of Deputies, as well as the representation of the states and of the Federal District shall be established by a supplementary law, in proportion to the population, and the necessary adjustments shall be made in the year preceding the elections, so that none of those units of the Federation has less than eight or more than seventy Deputies.

A Câmara dos Deputados compõe-se de representantes do povo, eleitos, pelo sistema proporcional, em cada Estado, em cada Território e no Distrito Federal.
