Their enumeration does not exclude others that are derived from the Christian principle of social justice and that the law indicates; they will be applicable equally to all the concurrent factors of the process of production, and [are] regulated in social legislation and labor [legislation], in order to procure a permanent policy of national solidarity. - EnglishThe right to work is underpinned by the following principles:
1. The State shall promote full employment and the elimination of under-employment and unemployment.
2. Labor rights cannot be waived and are intangible. Any stipulation to the contrary shall be null and void.
3. In the event of any uncertainty as to the scope of legal, regulatory or contract provisions in labor affairs, it is the most favorable interpretation of the effective force of these provisions for the benefit of workers that shall prevail.
4. Work of equal value shall be given equal pay.
5. All people shall be entitled to carry out their work in an appropriate, favorable setting, guaranteeing their health, bodily safety, security, hygiene and well-being.
6. Any person who has recovered from a work accident or sickness shall be entitled to return to work and continue the labor relationship, pursuant to the law.

1. El Estado impulsará el pleno empleo y la eliminación del subempleo y del desempleo.
2. Los derechos laborales son irrenunciables e intangibles. Será nula toda estipulación en contrario.
3. En caso de duda sobre el alcance de las disposiciones legales, reglamentarias o contractuales en materia laboral, éstas se aplicarán en el sentido más favorable a las personas trabajadoras.

- EnglishThe State, through the specific entities, will support the planning and construction of housing complexes [conjuntos], establishing the adequate systems for financing, which would make it possible to involve the different programs, so that the workers may opt for adequate housing and meet [the] health requirements.

- EnglishThe maximum duration of the ordinary working day will not exceed eight daily hours and 48 weekly hours, of daytime, except those legally established for special motives. The law will establish more favorable working days for the unsanitary, dangerous, painful, [and] night time tasks, or those whose development is in continuous rotating shifts.
The annual leaves of absence and vacations will be remunerated in accordance with the law. (Art. 91) - SpanishLa duración máxima de la jornada ordinaria de trabajo no excederá de ocho horas diarias y cuarenta y ocho horas semanales, diurnas, salvo las legalmente establecidas por motivos especiales. La ley fijará jornadas más favorables para las tareas insalubres, peligrosas, penosas, nocturnas o las que se desarrollen en turnos continuos rotativos.
Los descansos y las vacaciones anuales serán remunerados conforme con la ley. (Art. 91)

The labor of women and of minors under eighteen years of age shall be specially regulated and limited.
