a. every person born in Uganda one of whose parents or grandparents is or was a member of any of the indigenous communities existing and residing within the borders of Uganda as at the first day of February, 1926, and set out in the Third Schedule to this Constitution; and
b. every person born in or outside Uganda one of whose parents or grandparents was at the time of birth of that person a citizen of Uganda by birth. (Art. 10)

- EnglishIn the Republic of Uzbekistan, a uniform citizenship shall be established on the entire territory of the Republic.
Citizenship in the Republic of Uzbekistan shall be equal for all regardless of the grounds of its acquisition.
A citizen of the Republic of Karakalpakstan shall be a citizen of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

- EnglishCongolese nationality is one and exclusive. It may not be held concurrently with any other.
The Congolese nationality is either of origin, or by individual acquisition.
Any person belonging to an ethnic group of which the members [personnes] and the territory are constituent to that which became the Congo (presently the Democratic Republic of the Congo) at independence, is Congolese of origin. - EnglishThe following persons shall become citizens at the date of their birth on or after 1st November 1981-
a. every person born in Antigua and Barbuda:
Provided that a person shall not become a citizen by virtue of this paragraph if at the time of his birth
i. neither of his parents is a citizen and either of them possess such immunity from suit and legal process as is accorded to the envoy of a foreign sovereign power accredited to Antigua and Barbuda; or
ii. either of his parents is a citizen of a country with which Her Majesty is at war and the birth occurs in a place then under occupation by that country;
b. every person born outside Antigua and Barbuda if at the date of his birth either of his parents is or would have been but for that parent's death, a citizen by virtue of section 112 of this Constitution or paragraph (a) of this section;
c. every person born outside Antigua and Barbuda if at the date of his birth either of his parents is, or would have been but for that parent's death, a citizen employed in service under the Government or under an authority of the Government that requires him or her to reside outside Antigua and Barbuda for the proper discharge of his or her functions. - EnglishEvery person who, immediately before the coming into force of this Constitution, is a citizen of The Gambia, shall, subject to this Constitution—
(a) continue to be a citizen of The Gambia;
(b) retain the same status as a citizen by birth, by descent, by registration or by naturalisation, as the case may be, as he or she enjoyed immediately before the coming into force of this Constitution. (Sec. 8)
