- EnglishThe Republic guarantees to every citizen the right to work, to a healthy environment, to rest and to recreation within the conditions established by the law. It assures to them the conditions favorable for their development through an efficient policy of employment.
All citizens are equal concerning employment. No one may be discriminated against in their work or their employment because of their origin, of their sex, of their opinions or of their beliefs.
All workers participate, through the intermediary of their representatives, in the determination of working conditions.
The laws establish the conditions of assistance and of protection accorded to workers, and most particularly to the most young, to the most elderly, to the handicapped and to the minorities. - EnglishThe social security constitutes a public service of an obligatory character. The law will regulate its scope, extent, and form.
Said service shall be rendered by one or various institutions, which must observe among them an adequate coordination to assure a good policy of social protection, in [a] specialized form and with optimum utilization of resources.
The employers, workers, and the State will contribute to the payment of the social security in the form and quantity determined by the law.

(2) Conditions and limitations may be set by law upon the right to engage in certain professions or activities.

- English(1) Notwithstanding the provisions of sections 251, 257, 272 and anything contained in this Constitution and in addition to such other jurisdiction as may be conferred upon it by an Act of the National Assembly, the National Industrial Court shall have and exercise jurisdiction to the exclusion of any other court in civil causes and matters –
