The President of the Republic shall be a citizen of the Republic of North Macedonia. A person may be elected President of the Republic if over the age of at least 40 on the day of election. A person may not be elected President of the Republic if, on the day of election, he/she has not been a resident of the Republic of North Macedonia for at least ten years within the last fifteen years. To be elected President of the Republic it is required to be Peruvian by birth, to be thirty-five years of age at the moment of postulation and to enjoy the right of suffrage. (Art. 110) - Spanish
