- English(1) Spanish nationality shall be acquired, retained and lost in accordance with the provisions of the law.
(2) No person of Spanish birth may be deprived of his or her nationality.
(3) The State may negotiate dual nationality treaties with Latin-American countries or with those which have had or which have special links with Spain. In these countries Spaniards may become naturalized without losing their nationality of origin, even if those countries do not grant a reciprocal right to their own citizens. (Sec. 11) - Spanish1. La nacionalidad española se adquiere, se conserva y se pierde de acuerdo con lo establecido por la ley.
2. Ningún español de origen podrá ser privado de su nacionalidad.
3. El Estado podrá concertar tratados de doble nacionalidad con los países iberoamericanos o con aquellos que hayan tenido o tengan una particular vinculación con España. - EnglishPanamanian nationality by origin or acquired by birth can not be lost, but express or implied renunciation of it, suspends citizenship.
Panamanian nationality derived from or acquired by naturalization shall be lost for the same reasons. There is express renunciation when the person states in writing to the Executive Authority that he/she desires to abandon Panamanian citizenship; and implied renunciation when the person acquires the citizenship of a foreign state, or enters the service of an enemy State. 1. The sons and daughters of a Dominican mother or father;
2. Those who enjoyed Dominican nationality before the entry into effect of this Constitution;
3. People born in the national territory, with the exception of the sons and daughters of foreign members of diplomatic and consular legations, of foreigners that find themselves in transit or reside illegally in Dominican territory. All foreigners are considered people in transit as defined in Dominican laws.
4. Those born abroad to a Dominican mother or father, notwithstanding having acquired by the place of birth a nationality different from those of their parents. Once having reached the age of eighteen, they may demonstrate their desire, before the appropriate authority, to assume dual nationality or to renounce one of theirs;
5. Those who enter into marriage with a Dominican, as long as they choose the nationality of their spouses and fulfill the requirements established by law;
6. The direct descendants of Dominicans residing abroad;
7. Naturalized people, in accordance with the conditions and processes required by law.

5) Quienes contraigan matrimonio con un dominicano o dominicana, siempre que opten por la nacionalidad de su cónyuge y cumplan con los requisitos establecidos por la ley;
6) Los descendientes directos de dominicanos residentes en el exterior;
7) Las personas naturalizadas, de conformidad con las condiciones y formalidades requeridas por la ley.

1. Any person who was born within the territory of the Republic.
2. Any person who was born in a foreign territory, and is the child of a father and mother who are both Venezuelans by birth.
3. Any person who was born in a foreign territory, and is the child of a father or a mother, who is Venezuelan by birth, provided they have established residence within the territory of the Republic or declared their intention to obtain the Venezuelan nationality.

Any person who was born in a foreign territory, and is the child of a father or a mother who is Venezuelan by naturalization, provided that prior to reaching the age of 18, they establish their residence within the territory of the Republic, and before reaching the age of 25 declare their intention to obtain the Venezuelan nationality. Nationals are:
1. Those born in the national territory. The children of foreigners in diplomatic service, those of foreign functionaries in the service of international organizations or those sent by their government to fulfill work in Nicaragua, are excepted[,] unless they opt for Nicaraguan nationality.
2. The children of a Nicaraguan father or mother.
3. Those born abroad of a father or mother who originally were Nicaraguan, if and when they solicit it[,] once reaching majority of age or emancipation.
4. The infants of unknown parents found in Nicaraguan territory, without prejudice to, [should] their filiation become known, effects that proceed.
5. The children of foreign parents born on board Nicaraguan aircraft or vessel, if they solicit it. (Art. 16) - Spanish
Son nacionales:
1) Los nacidos en el territorio nacional. Se exceptúan los hijos de extranjeros en servicio diplomático, los de funcionarios extranjeros al servicio de organizaciones internacionales o los de enviados por sus gobiernos a desempeñar trabajos en Nicaragua, a menos que optaren por la nacionalidad nicaragüense.
2) Los hijos de padre o madre nicaragüense.
3) Los nacidos en el extranjero de padre o madre que originalmente fueron nicaragüenses, siempre y cuando lo solicitaren después de alcanzar la mayoría de edad o emancipación.
4) Los infantes de padres desconocidos encontrados en territorio nicaragüense, sin perjuicio de que, conocida su filiación, surtan los efectos que proceden.
5) Los hijos de padres extranjeros nacidos a bordo de aeronaves y embarcaciones nicaragüenses, siempre que ellos lo solicitaren. (Art. 16)
