- EnglishThe international treaties and agreements, the laws, the ordinances and the regulations currently in force, when they are not contrary to this law, remain applicable as long as they are not expressly modified or abrogated. (Art. 243)

(1) The Constitutional Court shall decide on the conformity of negotiated international treaties to which the assent of the National Council of the Slovak Republic with the Constitution and constitutional law is necessary.
(2) The President of the Slovak Republic or the Government may submit a proposal for a decision pursuant to paragraph 1 to the Constitutional Court prior to the presentation of a negotiated international treaty for discussion of the National Council of the Slovak Republic.
(3) The Constitutional Court shall decide on a proposal pursuant to paragraph 2 within a period laid down by a law; if the Constitutional Court holds in its decision that the international treaty is not in conformity with the Constitution or constitutional law, such international treaty cannot be ratified. (1) Ústavný súd rozhoduje o súlade dojednaných medzinárodných zmlúv, na ktoré je potrebný súhlas Národnej rady Slovenskej republiky, s ústavou alebo s ústavným zákonom.
(2) Návrh na rozhodnutie podľa odseku 1 môţe podať ústavnému súdu prezident Slovenskej republiky alebo vláda pred tým, ako predloţí dojednanú medzinárodnú zmluvu na rokovanie Národnej rady Slovenskej republiky.
(3) Ústavný súd rozhodne o návrhu podľa odseku 2 do lehoty ustanovenej zákonom; ak ústavný súd svojím rozhodnutím vysloví, ţe medzinárodná zmluva nie je v súlade s ústavou alebo s ústavným zákonom, takú medzinárodnú zmluvu nemoţno ratifikovať. (Čl. 125a)

- EnglishAll persons have the right to the recourse of habeas corpus to guarantee their personal freedom and integrity, and to the recourse of amparo to maintain or reestablish the enjoyment of the other rights consecrated in this Constitution, as well as those of a fundamental character established in the international instruments concerning human rights, applicable in the Republic. Both recourses will be of the competence of the Chamber indicated in Article 10. (Art. 48)

1. Every ratified international agreement constitutes part of the internal juridical system after it is published in the Official Journal of the Republic of Albania. It is implemented directly, except for cases when it is not self-executing and its implementation requires issuance of a law. The amendment, supplementation and repeal of laws approved by majority of all members of the Assembly, for the effect of ratifying an international agreement, is done with the same majority.
2. An international agreement that has been ratified by law has superiority over laws of the country that are not compatible with it.
3. The norms issued by an international organization have superiority, in case of conflict, on the legislation of the country, when the agreement ratified by the Republic of Albania for its participation in this organization, expressly provide for the direct applicability of the norms issued by this organisation. 1. Çdo marrëveshje ndërkombëtare e ratifikuar përbën pjesë të sistemit të brendshëm juridik pasi botohet në Fletoren Zyrtare të Republikës së Shqipërisë. Ajo zbatohet në mënyrë të drejtpërdrejtë, përveç rasteve kur nuk është e vetëzbatueshme dhe zbatimi i saj kërkon nxjerrjen e një ligji. Ndryshimi, plotësimi dhe shfuqizimi i ligjeve të miratuara me shumicën e të gjithë anëtarëve të Kuvendit për efekt të ratifikimit të marrëveshjeve ndërkombëtare bëhet me të njëjtën shumicë.
2. Një marrëveshje ndërkombëtare e ratifikuar me ligj ka epërsi mbi ligjet e vendit që nuk pajtohen me të.
3. Normat e nxjerra prej një organizate ndërkombëtare kanë epërsi, në rast konflikti, mbi të drejtën e vendit, kur në marrëveshjen e ratifikuar nga Republika e Shqipërisë për pjesëmarrjen në atë organizatë, parashikohet shprehimisht zbatimi i drejtpërdrejtë i normave të nxjerra prej asaj. - EnglishWithin the framework of European Union cooperation, the Riksdag may transfer decision-making authority which does not affect the basic principles by which Sweden is governed. Such transfer presupposes that protection for rights and freedoms in the field of cooperation to which the transfer relates corresponds to that afforded under this Instrument of Government and the European Convention for the Protection of Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms.

- EnglishAll persons, authorities and institutions are subject to the Constitution.
The judges, administrative authorities, and public servants shall directly apply constitutional standards and those provided for in international human rights instruments, as long as the latter are more favorable than those set forth in the Constitution, although the parties do not invoke them expressly.
The rights enshrined in the Constitution and international human rights instruments shall be for immediate observance and enforcement. The absence of a law or lack of knowledge about the norms cannot be alleged to justify the violation of rights and guarantees enshrined in the Constitution, to dismiss proceedings for their defense, or to refuse recognition of these rights. Las juezas y jueces, autoridades administrativas y servidoras y servidores públicos, aplicarán directamente las normas constitucionales y las previstas en los instrumentos internacionales de derechos humanos siempre que sean más favorables a las establecidas en la Constitución, aunque las partes no las invoquen expresamente.
Los derechos consagrados en la Constitución y los instrumentos internacionales de derechos humanos serán de inmediato cumplimiento y aplicación. No podrá alegarse falta de ley o desconocimiento de las normas para justificar la vulneración de los derechos y garantías establecidos en la Constitución, para desechar la acción interpuesta en su defensa, ni para negar el reconocimiento de tales derechos.
