- EnglishNo person carrying another nationality, in addition to the nationality of the Syrian Arab Republic, might occupy the office of President of the Republic, Vice-president, Prime Minister, deputy prime ministers, ministers, members of the People’s Assembly or members of the Supreme Constitutional Court. (Art. 152)
- Arabicلا يجوز لمن يحمل جنسية أخرى، إضافة للجنسية العربية السورية، أن يتولى مناصب رئيس الجمهورية أو نائبه أو رئيس مجلس الوزراء أو نوابه أو الوزراء أوعضوية مجلس الشعب أو عضوية المحكمة الدستورية العليا. (المادّة 152)

- English(1) No person shall be eligible for election as President unless he—
(a) is a citizen of India,
(b) has completed the age of thirty-five years, and
(c) is qualified for election as a member of the House of the People.
(2) A person shall not be eligible for election as President if he holds any office of profit under the Government of India or the Government of any State or under any local or other authority subject to the control of any of the said Governments. (Art. 58) - Hindi(1) कोई व्यक्ति राष्ट्रपति निर्वाचित होने का पात्र तभी होगा जब वह—
(क) भारत का नागरिक है,
(ख) पैंतीस वर्ष की आयु पूरी कर चुका है, और
(ग) लोक सभा का सदस्य निर्वाचित होने के लिए अर्हित है।
(2) कोई व्यक्ति, जो भारत सरकार के या किसी राज्य की सरकार के अधीन अथवा उक्त सरकारों में से किसी के नियंत्रण में किसी स्थानीय या अन्य प्राधिकारी के अधीन कोई लाभ का पद धारण करता है, राष्ट्रपति निर्वाचित होने का पात्र नहीं होगा। (अनुच्छेद 58)

- EnglishFirst: The Council of Representatives shall elect a President of the Republic from among the candidates by a two-thirds majority of the number of its members.
Second: If none of the candidates receive the required majority vote then the two candidates who received the highest number of votes shall compete and the one who receives the majority of votes in the second election shall be declared President. - EnglishA Prince or Princess entitled to succeed to the Crown of Norway may not marry without the consent of the King. Nor may he or she accept any other crown or government without the consent of the King and the Storting. For the consent of the Storting two thirds of the votes are required.
If he or she acts contrary to this rule, they and their descendants forfeit their right to the throne of Norway. (Art. 36) - NorwegianEn til Norges krone arveberettiget prins eller prinsesse må ikke gifte seg uten kongens tillatelse. Heller ikke må han eller hun motta noen annen krone eller regjering uten kongens og Stortingets samtykke. Til Stortingets samtykke fordres to tredjedeler av stemmene.
Handler han eller hun i strid med dette, taper vedkommende så vel som etterkommerne retten til Norges trone. (§ 36)
