(3) The employer of a female worker shall accord that worker protection before and after child birth in accordance with law.
(4) Parliament shall enact laws to -
(a) provide for the right of persons to work under satisfactory, safe and healthy conditions;
(b) ensure equal payment for equal work without discrimination;
(c) ensure that every worker is accorded rest and reasonable working hours and periods of holidays with pay as well as remuneration for public holidays; and

- English(1) Every person has the right to full and free participation in the economic life of the State, which includes the right to choose their own work, trade, occupation, profession or other means of livelihood.
(2) The State must take reasonable measures within its available resources to achieve the progressive realisation of the rights recognised in subsection (1).
(3) To the extent that it is necessary, a law may limit, or may authorise the limitation of, the rights set out in subsection (1). - EnglishThe social security constitutes a public service of an obligatory character. The law will regulate its scope, extent, and form.
Said service shall be rendered by one or various institutions, which must observe among them an adequate coordination to assure a good policy of social protection, in [a] specialized form and with optimum utilization of resources.
The employers, workers, and the State will contribute to the payment of the social security in the form and quantity determined by the law.

All work merits a salary.
The right to protection, to security and to hygiene at work, is guaranteed by the law.
The right to rest is guaranteed; the law determines the modalities of [its] exercise.
The right of the worker to social security is guaranteed by the law.
The employment of children is punished by the law.
The State works for the promotion of apprenticeship and implements policies to help the creation of employments.
