(2) They also have the right to accede under conditions of equality to public functions and positions, in accordance with the requirements laid down by the law. (Sec. 23) - Spanish1. (1) Subject to the provisions of subsections (5), (6) and (9) of this section, no law shall make any provision that is discriminatory either of itself or in its effect.
