It is the duty and right of parents to support, raise and educate their children, even if born out of wedlock.
Is case of incapacity of the parents, the law shall provide for the fulfilment of their duties.
The law shall ensure any children born out of wedlock all legal and social protection measures as are compatible with the rights of the members of the legitimate family.
The law shall establish rules and limits for the determination of paternity. (Art. 30) - Italian
È dovere e diritto dei genitori mantenere, istruire ed educare i figli, anche se nati fuori del matrimonio.
Nei casi di incapacità dei genitori, la legge provvede a che siano assolti i loro compiti.

- EnglishThe family is the fundamental nucleus of society. It is constituted by natural or juridical ties, through the free decision of a man and woman to contract matrimony or through the responsible will to conform to it.
The State and the society guarantee the complete protection of the family. The law may determine the family patrimony [to be] inalienable and unseizable.
The honor, dignity, and intimacy of the family are inviolable.
Family relations are based on the equality of rights and duties of the couple and on the reciprocal respect among all its members.
Any form of violence in the family is considered destructive of its harmony and unity, and will be sanctioned according to the law.
The children born in matrimony or outside it, adopted or conceived naturally or with scientific assistance, have equal rights and duties.
The law will regulate responsible progeniture.
The couple has the right to decide freely and responsibly the number of their children and must support them and educate them while they are minors or disabled.
The forms of matrimony, the age and capacity to contract it, the duties and rights of the spouses, their separation and the dissolution of the tie are determined by the civil law.
Religious marriages will have civil effects in the terms established by the law.
The civil effects of all marriages may cease by divorce in accordance with the civil law.
Sentences of annulment of religious marriages issued by the authorities of the respective religion, will also have civil effects within the limits established by the law.

- EnglishInvestigation of paternity shall be regulated by law. Classifications as to the nature of the relationship are abolished. There shall not be entered any statement establishing differences of birth, or, on the civil status of the parents, in the registration records, or in any attestation, baptismal or christening records, or certificate referring to the relationship.
Authority is hereby granted to the father of a child born before the effective date of this Constitution to protect the child by the provisions of this Article, by means of rectifying any record or attestation in which any classification may have been established with respect to said child. The consent of the mother is not required but if the child is of legal age, he/she must give his/her consent thereto. In acts of acknowledgement of paternity, anyone who is legally affected by said act may oppose this measure.

Queda abolida toda calificación sobre la naturaleza de la filiación. No se consignará declaración alguna que establezca diferencia en los nacimientos o sobre el estado civil de los padres en las actas de inscripción de aquellos, ni en ningún atestado, partida de bautismo o certificado referente a la filiación.
Se concede facultad al padre del hijo nacido con anterioridad a la vigencia de esta Constitución para ampararlo con lo dispuesto en este artículo, mediante la rectificación de cualquier acta o atestado en los cuales se halle establecida clasificación alguna con respecto a dicho hijo. No se requiere para esto el consentimiento de la madre. Si el hijo es mayor de edad, éste debe otorgar su consentimiento.
En los actos de simulación de paternidad, podrá objetar esta medida quien se encuentre legalmente afectado por el acto.

A. The family is the foundation of society; the State shall preserve it and its religious, moral, and national values.
B. The State shall guarantee the protection of motherhood, childhood and old age, shall care for children and youth, and shall provide them with the appropriate conditions to develop their talents and abilities.
Second: Children have the right to upbringing, care and education from their parents. Parents have the right to respect and care from their children, especially in times of need, disability, and old age.
Third: Economic exploitation of children in all of its forms shall be prohibited, and the State shall take the necessary measures for their protection.
Fourth: All forms of violence and abuse in the family, school, and society shall be prohibited. (Art. 29) - Arabicأولاً:ـ
