a. any treaty, agreement or convention with any country or international organisation was made or affirmed by Uganda or the Government on or after the ninth day of October, 1962, and was still in force immediately before the coming into force of this Constitution; or
b. Uganda or the Government was otherwise a party immediately before the coming into force of this Constitution to any such treaty, agreement or convention,the treaty, agreement or convention shall not be affected by the coming into force of this Constitution; and Uganda or the Government, as the case may be, shall continue to be a party to it. - English1. The legal system of East Timor shall adopt the general or customary principles of international law.
2. Rules provided for in international conventions, treaties and agreements shall apply in the internal legal system of East Timor following their approval, ratification or accession by the respective competent organs and after publication in the official gazette.

(2) The Slovak Republic may, by an international agreement ratified and published in a manner specified by constitutional law, or on the basis of such an agreement, delegate the implementation of a part of its rights to the European Community and the European Union. 2. The organic or formal unconstitutionality of international treaties or agreements that deal with matters falling within the jurisdiction reserved to the National Assembly or within the legislative power of the Government shall not impair the application of the rules of such treaties and agreements in the Cabo Verdean legal order, in case they are confirmed by the Government and approved by the National Assembly by a two-third majority of the Deputies present in the first plenary session following the date of the publication of the court’s decision.
