Obligations of Private Parties

The Cuban State recognizes and guarantees to a person the non-renounceable, indivisible, and interdependent enjoyment and exercise of human rights, in correspondence with the principles of progressivity and nondiscrimination. Their respect and guarantee are obligatory for all. (Art. 41)

El Estado cubano reconoce y garantiza a la persona el goce y el ejercicio irrenunciable, imprescriptible, indivisible, universal e interdependiente de los derechos humanos, en correspondencia con los principios de progresividad, igualdad y no discriminación. Su respeto y garantía es de obligatorio cumplimiento para todos. (Art. 41)
Obligations of Private Parties

The exercise of these rights of the people are only limited by the rights of others, collective security, general well-being, respect for public order, the Constitution, and the laws. (Art. 45)
- Spanish
El ejercicio de los derechos de las personas solo está limitado por los derechos de los demás, la seguridad colectiva, el bienestar general, el respeto al orden público, a la Constitución y a las leyes. (Art. 45)
Obligations of Private Parties

The exercise of the rights and liberties provided for in this Constitution implies responsibilities. They are duties of Cuban citizens, in addition to the other duties established by this Constitution and the laws, are:

g. To respect the rights of others and to not abuse one's own rights;

El ejercicio de los derechos y libertades previstos en esta Constitución implican responsabilidades. Son deberes de los ciudadanos cubanos, además de los otros establecidos en esta Constitución y las leyes:
